Welder A Bollinger Mississippi Shipbuilding, LLC United States, Mississippi, Pascagoula 900 Bayou Casotte Parkway (Show on map) Sep 02, 2026

REQUIRED:

Must have 3 years minimum marine structural journeyman welding experience.

GENERAL FUNCTION

Welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities: Utilizes knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials including the specifications of the particular equipment to be used in the process. Must be able to weld butts and bulbs in all positions and pass Ultrasonic (UT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) test methods. Tank testing and associated duties as required.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

The ability to pass a welding test in the overhead and vertical positions based on certifications being sought.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING
