Job Description
Position Summary Weld & fabricate multiple types of materials (steel, aluminum, and stainless steel) using
MIG & TIG
weld processes, with the main focus on welding thin and thick gauge steel plate materials. Job Requirements- 5 years metal fabrication/layout/welding and print reading experience
- 5+ years experience preferred in a production/industrial fabrication environment
- Must be able to fabricate from shop drawings
- Must have experience fabricating light gauge sheet metal to heavy plate
- Must be able to hold close tolerance on welded assemblies when required
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Must have attention to detail and desire to produce high quality work consistently
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
- Ability to communicate and independently execute work instructions
- Basic math and computer skills
- Positive attitude, dedication to attendance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Highly motivated, able to work with little or no supervision
