• A Snapshot of Your Day
• This is a 3x12 night shift position focused on the repairand restoration of combustion components for the power generation industry.

Inthis role, you will perform manual GTAW welding on superalloy materials,including Inconel and Hastelloy, while utilizing fitting, layout, andcoldworking techniques to meet engineered specifications. Dailyresponsibilities include interpreting blueprints, restoring component surfaces,and safely handling materials using cranes and forklifts. Success in this rolerequires flexibility, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability toadapt to changing production priorities.

• How You'll Make an Impact
• + Performmanual GTAW welding, layout, fitting, and restoration work on combustioncomponents to engineered specifications.

+ Coldwork and form superalloy components, including Inconel and Hastelloy, tomeet dimensional and tolerance requirements.

+ Usehand tools, grinders, burrs, and other equipment to repair and reconditioncomponent surfaces.

+ Interpretdetailed drawings, sketches, blueprints, and manufacturing specificationsto determine required repair and welding operations.

+ Safelyoperate material handling equipment, including jib cranes, bridge cranes,and forklifts, to move and position components.

+ Maintainflexibility in supporting urgent production priorities while consistentlymeeting daily quality and productivity expectations.

• What You Bring
• + HighSchool Diploma or GED required.

+ 1-3years of industrial welding, assembly, fabrication, or relatedmanufacturing experience, or equivalent formal technical training.

+ Abilityto pass welding qualification testing, including Inconel GMAW 6G ButtJoint Open Root certification to ISO standards.

+ Experiencewith fitting, layout, and coldworking materials to engineeredrequirements, along with the ability to use basic shop math and precisionmeasuring equipment.

+ Abilityto obtain and maintain a fork truck and crane license, achieve a CareerReadiness/WorkKeys Silver Certificate, pass required hearing, vision, andpulmonary function testing, and safely lift/move up to 50 pounds.

+ Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. SiemensEnergy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible forinternal transfers.
