Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing and construction teams. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures, ductwork, custom metal projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical proficiency, mechanical knowledge, and a keen eye for detail. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to join metals accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components. Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper dimensions according to specifications. Fabricate sheet metal structures, and mechanical assemblies following ASME codes & standards. Operate cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, and other machinery safely during fabrication and installation processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing background involving metal fabrication. Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques with a strong understanding of welding standards. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for precise fabrication work. Experience using calipers, micrometers, hand tools & power tools. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes Ability to interpret ASME codes & standards for quality assurance in welding and fabrication projects.
