Key Responsibilities:
Weld and fabricate various tanks and components to the ASME Code standard, with extensive pipe welding experience Ability to efficiently use various welding techniques on stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum in all positions Have hands-on experience with
GMAW, GTAW, SMAW
Produce consistent, high quality welds Proficient in laying out, positioning and fitting up components prior to welding Ability to use oxy-acetylene flame and plasma cutting equipment Ability to safely operate various hand and power tools such as grinders, sanders and drills Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and associates welding symbols and callouts Ability to read and understand bills of material and charge material electronically
Qualifications :
A high school diploma or GED 2 to 5+ years welding experience Proficient computer skills for data input Additional certification in welding technology or similar formal welding training 2 or more years of ASME or other related code welding experience 2 or more years pipe welding experience Any mechanical experience a plus
