Job Description

Description:
Essential Functions (Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following): Maintains welds on various items using a variety of processes (manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing, cement core drilling, sheet metal, steam-fitting etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability and functioning of required items ensuring safety. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Skills/Qualifications:
Must have both mig and tig welding experience Experience working with both Aluminum & Steel Ability to operate equipment used in welding and metal fabrication including band saws, grinders, break, shear, drill, press, chop saw etc. Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. Must have good eye for detailed inspection. Able to work independently. Must adhere to safety procedures. Must be ambitious, energetic, and quality conscious. Able to regularly lift and adjust items less than 50lbs.
Education:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). The incumbent must demonstrate excellent welding skills.
