Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder Helper to join our team. The Welder Helper will assist experienced welders in various tasks related to welding and fabrication. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in welding and construction while contributing to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities Assist welders in preparing materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively, ensuring all equipment is maintained in good working condition. Help rig materials and components as needed , following safety protocols at all times. Support the setup and operation of press brake machines for bending metal components. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications. Perform soldering tasks as required to join metal parts securely. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of welding processes and techniques. Structural welding experience is an asset. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Experience using power tools and hand tools safely in a construction or manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Willingness to learn new skills related to welding and fabrication processes. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while following instructions from supervisors.
