Job Summary:
Duo Lift, a leading manufacturer of agricultural and industrial trailers, is seeking a skilled Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will perform wire welding tasks in the fabrication of high-quality trailers, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Wire Welding:
Perform wire welding to fabricate trailer components with precision, ensuring weld quality and adherence to specifications.
Blueprint Reading:
Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and work orders to execute welding tasks accurately.
Material Handling:
Position and secure components safely using hoists, clamps, or jigs to ensure proper fit and alignment.
Quality Control:
Inspect welds and completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Production Efficiency:
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality.
Physical Requirements:
Stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs regularly, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
Maintenance:
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment to ensure proper operation.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of production welding experience. Proficiency in wire welding techniques. Ability to read, write, and understand English for following instructions and safety guidelines. Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a manufacturing or trailer production environment. Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and fabrication processes. Certification in welding is a plus.
