Industrial Welder and Metal Fabricator Accelera - 3.5 Lincoln, NE Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Blueprint specification interpretation Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence High school diploma or GED Fall protection protocols Full Job Description About the Role As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a critical role in constructing high-pressure vessels and complex industrial components. You will leverage your technical expertise in welding and assembly to ensure every project meets rigorous quality and safety standards while contributing to efficient production workflows. Responsibilities Execute precision welding on pressure vessels in strict accordance with ASME code requirements. Interpret complex blueprints and technical process sheets to ensure accurate fabrication. Operate specialized equipment, including overhead cranes and lifts, while maintaining a focus on site safety. Support cross-functional production goals by working as a versatile team member across fabrication and assembly departments. Maintain a high-performance workspace by adhering to 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Document project progress and time allocation accurately using internal digital tracking systems. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and process documentation. Strong understanding of workplace safety, including the use of PPE and fall protection. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 80 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces. Preferred Skills Two-year degree in Welding Technology or equivalent vocational training. Hands-on experience with GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW welding processes. Proven ability to pass 6G welding certification tests per ASME standards. Experience with precision measurement tools and metal fabrication techniques.
