Full Job Description Welder/Fabricator Position Job Description Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Welder/fabricator to join our team to perform welding, cutting and fabrication tasks for a Shipyard located in Bayonne NJ. Previous fabrication experience, mechanical inclination and math skills are key. You will set out fabrications, track welding components and use tools to measure, mark, cut and bend materials meeting high quality control and safety expectations. Tasks may be performed in a time critical manner requiring a flexible work schedule. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting welding procedures to produce a quality welding product. Fabrication and installation Stick Welding Weld Carbon Steel Cutting processes - Oxygen/Propane Strong math skills for measuring and cutting to specified tolerances. Keep a clean and organized work area. Able to Fabricate from Drawings Experienced inShielded Metal Arc Welding Use of Oxy/Propane Torch Job Requirements:

- Hand-eye coordination
- Good mobility and flexibility
- Must pass a company performed welding test.
- Possess strong comprehension skills.

- Must have reliable transportation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in welding, cutting/burning, and fabrication.
