Full Job Description Welder/Fabricator Position Job Description Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Welder/fabricator to join our team to perform welding, cutting and fabrication tasks for a Shipyard located in Bayonne NJ. Previous fabrication experience, mechanical inclination and math skills are key. You will set out fabrications, track welding components and use tools to measure, mark, cut and bend materials meeting high quality control and safety expectations. Tasks may be performed in a time critical manner requiring a flexible work schedule. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting welding procedures to produce a quality welding product. Fabrication and installation Stick Welding Weld Carbon Steel Cutting processes - Oxygen/Propane Strong math skills for measuring and cutting to specified tolerances. Keep a clean and organized work area. Able to Fabricate from Drawings Experienced in

Shielded Metal Arc Welding Use of Oxy/Propane Torch Job Requirements:

Preferred qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in welding, cutting/burning, and fabrication.

Trade/Technical or College certificate or degree in related field Experience or interest in metal working. AWS Certified. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed. This position is integral throughout the production process and will perform a variety of duties as needed. Punctuality, and a positive attitude are key.
