Job Description
Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Welder with strong TIG welding skills to support the repair and manufacturing of critical turbine engine components. You'll perform precision welding, including welding in an inert chamber, where consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential. This is hands-on, detail-driven work where weld quality and following established procedures matter. If you take pride in clean welds, repeatable results, and doing precision work in a structured aerospace environment, you'll fit in well here.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding, including welding in an inert chamberWeld parts to manufacturing specifications with consistent qualityRead and understand blueprints and work instructionsPrep parts using grit blasting and other surface prep methodsFollow safe machine practices at all timesUse standard shop and welding materials correctlyInspect your own work using handheld measuring toolsMaintain safety and housekeeping standards in your areaFollow the Quality Control Manual (QCM)Work within ISO / Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirementsComply with Company RSM and all health, safety, and environmental policiesSupport continuous improvement and lean initiativesWork with integrity and follow the Corporate Code of Ethical StandardsMaintain regular and reliable attendanceHelp out with other shop tasks as needed
Requirements
Ability to become certified to AWS-D17.1Must pass applicable vision testing, if requiredHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious welding experience in a manufacturing environmentAble to read and write in EnglishAble to follow written and verbal instructionsComfortable using basic measuring toolsAble to work independently or as part of a teamWilling and able to pass job-related testing
