Job Description

StaffRite USA is currently hiring experienced MIG/MAG Welders , also known as GMAW Welders , for steel fabrication and production welding work. Candidates must have proven experience performing high-quality MIG/MAG welding on steel components in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial setting. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and capable of producing clean, consistent welds that meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG/MAG Welding / GMAW on steel parts and assemblies Weld structural steel, fabricated components, frames, beams, plates, or related materials Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and job specifications Set up and adjust welding machines based on material and job requirements Inspect finished welds for quality, consistency, and defects Grind, clean, and prepare materials as needed Follow WPS instructions and quality procedures Maintain a safe and clean work environment Complete weld testing if required by the client Requirements Previous experience with MIG/MAG Welding / GMAW Experience welding carbon steel or structural steel preferred Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols preferred Ability to pass a weld test Must understand basic weld quality standards Must be dependable and able to work assigned shift Fabrication shop or manufacturing experience preferred Preferred Certifications
AWS D1.1
certification preferred ASME certification or equivalent qualification is a plus Previous employer-issued welding qualification records accepted OSHA, forklift, or overhead crane experience is a plus Ideal Candidate Background Structural steel fabrication Production welding Heavy manufacturing Steel frames, beams, plates, or assemblies
