Experience:

4+ years of pipe welding experience We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder for a 3-6 month industrial project in Sparks, Nevada. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with 6G pipe welding , TIG and Stick processes, and welding exotic metals in industrial environments. Responsibilities Perform pipe welding in the 6G position Complete Stick (SMAW) root with TIG fill and cap Perform high-quality welds on pipe and industrial components Read and interpret welding drawings, specifications, and procedures Weld a variety of materials, including exotic metals Follow approved welding procedures and maintain quality standards Perform fit-up, welding, grinding, and related fabrication duties as needed Maintain a safe and organized work area Follow all site safety requirements and procedures Qualifications 4+ years of professional pipe welding experience Demonstrated experience welding in the 6G position Strong TIG and Stick/SMAW welding experience Experience with Stick root, TIG fill, and TIG cap Experience welding exotic metals Ability to pass required welding certifications/qualifications Must have at least 2 welding certifications , with experience in: SMAW (Stick) , and/or FCAW (MIG) for structural applications Ability to read welding symbols, blueprints, and fabrication drawings Strong understanding of industrial welding practices and safety procedures Weld Test Candidates will complete an on-site welding assessment on the first day to demonstrate their welding ability and qualify for the project. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a highly skilled industrial pipe welder who is comfortable working in 6G position and has proven TIG/Stick experience, particularly with exotic metals and critical-quality welds.

Pay:

$43.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 - 60.0 per week
