The work will primarily involve stainless steel material that may require back purging. We are seeking welders who are proficient in both TIG and MIG processes and can produce consistent, high-quality work. Responsibilities Fit, prepare, and weld stainless steel according to drawings, specifications, and the contractor's procedures Use TIG and MIG welding processes as directed for the work. Inspect your work for fit, quality, and completeness. Follow jobsite safety requirements Qualifications Demonstrates strong experience in welding and metal fabrication Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding across multiple materials Ability to read drawings and follow welding procedures. Ability to pass a weld test if required by the contractor. Ability to produce consistent welds that meet the contractor's quality requirements. Employment details Selected candidates will be employed by a SMART Local 71 signatory contractor under our standard collective bargaining agreement.
