Our client, a well-established metal fabrication manufacturer, is seeking a dependable and motivated Welder to join their growing production team. Monday-Friday First Shift Compensation:
$16.00-$26.00 per hour Compensation is based on prior welding experience and demonstrated welding performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fabrication of metal components according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications. Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards. Use grinders, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules. Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read measuring devices and basic fabrication drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to safely operate welding equipment and common fabrication tools. Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is a plus. Technical degree or vocational training in welding, fabrication, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in a custom metal fabrication environment. Experience with MIG, TIG, or other common welding processes.
