Job Description
About us Thurston Mechanical is a local, family-owned, Industrial Plumbing company. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am
- 4:00pm with opportunities for overtime.
Duties:
- Perform TIG pipe welding tasks in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding requirements
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and fitting
- Ensure proper alignment and fit of pipes before welding
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards
- Test welded joints for leaks or other defects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Must be able to weld in a shop and field setting
Requirements:
- Proficient in basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Experience with pipe welding techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$26.00- $40.
