Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques, sheet metal work, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials. Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and standards for quality assurance. Perform inspections of completed work to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Experience with sheet metal fabrication and ductwork assembly is preferred. Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Familiarity with industry codes and standards relevant to welding and fabrication processes. Ability to operate power tools safely, including saws, grinders, and drills. Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
