Welder (MIG)
Location:
Akron, OH Pay Rate:
$18.00 to $19.00 per hour on W2
Shift:
2 nd Shift - 12.00 PM to 08.30 PM (Monday to Friday) (Training on day shift for 3-4 weeks- which includes 6a-2:30pm) As a MIG Welder, you will be working with aluminum and sheet metal (12-20 gauge) to create high-quality welds. The ideal candidate will be able to pass a weld test after training and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
MIG welding on aluminum and sheet metal (12-20 gauge) Ensure quality welds that meet the company's standards Follow safety protocols and work in a clean and organized manner Ability to adapt to training on the day shift for 3-4 weeks before moving to the 1:00PM-9:30PM.
Qualifications:
Ability to pass a weld test after training Lift 50+ lbs. repetitively Stand for up to 12 hours continuously Proficient in English No formal certifications required Ideal for recent graduates or students just out of school looking to start a career in welding Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic Entry Level candidates encouraged to apply #
