Shift Mig Production Welder Hours:

4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Monday - Thursday Friday will be overtime and most likely working on Saturday as well•

Pay Rate:

$20.50 per hour

Summary:

A specialized, niche metal fabricator with decades of experience, focused on building custom racks, containers, and welded assemblies—especially for automotive and industrial clients. It's not a large-scale manufacturer, but it has a strong reputation for precision work and tailored solutions. Responsibilities 1. Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications. 2. Set up welding equipment and select proper settings. 3. Weld components in flat or vertical positions 4. Inspect welds for accuracy and quality. 5. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 6. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. 7. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Requirements 1. Proven experience as a MIG welder (required weld test with customer) 2. Must provide own weld helmet 3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications. 4. Proficient in welding techniques, including MIG welding. 5. Knowledge of welding equipment and tools 6. Strong attention to detail and quality 7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 8. Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in the automotive industry 2. Familiarity with industrial racking systems Physical Requirements 1. Must be able to pick up and load parts into a weld fixture ranging in size from a few inches, up to 8 feet in length, and help team lift parts greater than 8 feet. 2. Must be able to pick up and lift completed parts ranging in weight from less than 1 pound, up to 50 pounds, and help team lift parts that are greater than 50 pounds. 3.
