We design, engineer, fabricate, and install just about anything involving metal, with a specialty in food processing and manufacturing equipment: conveyors, platforms, hoppers and tanks, blenders, piping, and structures. We're hiring full time MIG and TIG welder/fabricators at every experience level, from recently certified to senior. You'll turn raw stainless, aluminum, and carbon steel into finished equipment, working from blueprints alongside our design and engineering team. Turnover here is low and you won't be a number. Schedule is 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some overtime during busy periods. Competitive hourly rate based on experience, paid weekly. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols to determine fabrication and welding requirements. Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, with stick welding as needed. Lay out, measure, and mark material using tape measures, squares, levels, and calipers. Cut, fit, and tack weld parts using saws, shears, plasma cutters, torches, and grinders. Fabricate and assemble equipment such as conveyors, platforms, hoppers, tanks, piping, and structures to spec. Inspect your own welds and finished assemblies for accuracy, penetration, and appearance. Troubleshoot fit up and fabrication issues and work with the design and engineering team to resolve drawing conflicts. Maintain a clean, safe work area, follow shop safety practices, and keep welding equipment in good working order. Experience Welding experience at any level. Recently certified welders are welcome; senior fabricators bring more to the table and are paid accordingly. Solid MIG and TIG skills. Stick is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols. Comfortable with layout and measuring tools and basic shop math including fractions and angles. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right. Basic understanding of shop safety. AWS certification is a plus, not a requirement. Able to stand a full shift, work in awkward positions, and lift 50 lbs.

Pay:

$19.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
