Job Title:
TIG & Laser Beam Welding Operator Job Details Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour (Starting rate dependent on experience and skill level)
Job Type:
Full-time (Preferred), Part-time considered
Shift:
1st Shift (Scheduled between 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) | 8-10 hours per day
Location:
203 N. Jersey St., Dayton, OH 45403 (In-person) About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG & Laser Beam Welding Operator to join our team in a newly created position. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your technical capabilities, as we will fully train the right candidate on our advanced Laser Beam Welding (LBW) systems . If you have a proven track record in fine TIG welding, exceptional hand-eye coordination, and a great attitude, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities TIG Welding:
Successfully perform precise TIG welding on Stainless Steel (as thin as 0.045" without burn-through) and Aluminum across all material thicknesses. Laser Beam Welding (LBW): Assemble, manage, and weld small, lightweight parts in a controlled environment using manual or CNC LBW systems.
Microscopic Assembly:
Comfortably work under a microscope or advanced vision system to complete intricate, fine-detailed assemblies.
Production Operations:
Run repetitive production processes efficiently for extended periods while maintaining strict quality standards.
Autonomy & Safety:
Maintain a steady, safe, and productive workflow with minimal direct supervision once fully trained.
Requirements & Qualifications TIG Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of proven TIG welding experience (Required).
Laser Experience:
Prior Laser Beam Welding experience is a major asset and will command a higher starting pay rate, but it is not required (comprehensive training provided).
Precision & Dexterity:
Excellent manual dexterity, steady hands, and sharp vision necessary for micro-assembly work under magnification.
Core Competencies:
High level of dependability, strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
Technical Literacy:
Familiarity with basic computer operations to interface with CNC equipment and logging systems.
Workplace Standards:
