Job Description

Mancor Industries is a world-class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. We use state-of-the-art machining and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team-manufacturing environment to produce high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners. Mancor is looking for a highly talented welder to join our dynamic team. We're seeking a hardworking professional who likes meeting challenges and surpassing client expectations.
I. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
By using weld diagrams, performs different kinds of welding, brazing, and cutting using gas welding equipment to produce metal parts as specified by layout.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Obtains all necessary instructions and equipment for job run. Grinding Performs all necessary welds per part specification. Performs MIG Welds. Read and Interpret Blueprints May be required to perform TIG Welds. Identifies and can use necessary weld fixtures. Prepares parts and material for welding. Wears appropriate safety equipment for work being performed and as directed by company policy. Maintains a safe work environment through good housekeeping practices. All other duties as assigned.
III. QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge of MIG welding required. Knowledge of TIG welding, MIG Aluminum welding, and Stainless Steel Welding preferred. Must know weld parameters Must know the difference in weld sizes. Read and Interpret Blue Prints Certification required. Successful completion of on-the-job training. Physical ability to continuously stoop, bend, and stand. Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pound occasionally.
