Description Job Responsibilities Reads and interprets basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to plan welding operations.

Performs basic welding equipment setup to produce fabricated components.

Prepares materials for welding by cleaning surfaces and fitting components.

Inspects completed welds visually and using testing methods to ensure they meet quality standards.

Assists in troubleshooting and repairing welds.

Maintains welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

Follows all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

May operate machinery including welding robots, saws, and grinders. Job Skills Requirements Basic understanding of welding processes and techniques.

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.

General knowledge of welding codes, standards, and safety practices.

Attention to detail and commitment to learning quality workmanship.

Physical stamina to work in various positions for extended periods.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience. Experience Requirements Some prior experience or training in welding preferred but not required.

Willingness to complete a certified welding program or apprenticeship is preferred. Physical & Environmental Requirements Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).

Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).

Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
