Forest Park, OH (Cincinnati Area) Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating piping systems, ductwork, structural supports, and other mechanical construction components according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, performing high-quality welds, and working efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols. Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and other welding processes on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals. Cut, fit, grind, and assemble materials to precise measurements and tolerances. Set up and safely operate welding machines, torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment. Inspect completed welds and fabricated assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications. Maintain accurate documentation for welds, materials, and quality control. Follow all OSHA and workplace safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with material handling, staging, and loading fabricated components for delivery. Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of welding experience required. High School Diploma or GED required. Trade school or vocational training is a plus. Ability to successfully complete a GMAW pipe welding test . Preferred Skills Experience with pipe fitting, sheet metal fabrication, or structural welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols. General knowledge of plumbing and piping systems is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work with precision while maintaining productivity. Proficiency using hand tools, grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and fabrication machinery. Basic math skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a production environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to producing quality work while maintaining a safe workplace. Physical Requirements Vision correctable to 20/50. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds . Ability to stand, bend, and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a fabrication shop environment.
