Job Description

Summary We are hiring for a tank builder. You will weld and fabricate the tank bodies as pictured on the gallery on our website (lcmohio.com) and other custom fabrications. You may occasionally need to roll and bevel the sections for the tank bodies as well. The tank bodies are made from ¼ carbon steel, although we have moved into the aluminum tanks as well. Likely require about five years of previous work experience to be the caliber needed to preform the work.
Schedule:
Mon-Fri 6am-230pm. ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review quality requirements for individual jobs to ensure requirements are understood and implemented
  • Experience with dimensional inspection and documenting results
  • Ensure tolerances are held by performing visual and dimensional inspection of finished product
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and checklists for all inspections or tests in the welding and fabrication process
  • Self-motivated and possess ability to work independently to establish procedures
  • Experience working in a fabrication shop environment and knowledge of fabrication practices a plus
  • Print reading skills, able to read and interpret work orders, blueprints and weld prints
  • Enforce compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
  • Attention to detail
Competencies Required:
  • Welding and/or Fabrication experience, 5+ years Blueprint Reading Math skills
