We're looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder who enjoys building things from the ground up, solving fabrication challenges, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Position Summary As a Fabricator/Welder, you'll fabricate, fit, weld, and assemble custom components from engineering drawings. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing quality work safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols Layout, fit, fabricate, and weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drill presses, ironworkers, and other shop equipment Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of custom and production projects Verify dimensions and ensure assemblies meet print specifications Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production personnel Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Inspect finished weldments to ensure they meet Die Craft's quality standards Qualifications Required 3-5+ years of fabrication and welding experience Strong blueprint reading and layout skills Proficiency with MIG welding Experience using common fabrication equipment and measuring tools Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Preferred TIG welding experience Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum Experience building fixtures, weldments, or custom fabrications Forklift and overhead crane experience Why Join Die Craft?
