Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Repair Welder to perform welding, fabrication, and repair work on metal components, equipment, and structures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, the ability to read blueprints or repair specifications, and a commitment to producing high-quality, durable welds in a safe and efficient manner. This is 1st shift, 7am-3:30pm. $1000
Sign On Bonus Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on damaged or worn metal parts, assemblies, and equipment. Utilize MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques as required by the repair. Inspect and assess parts or structures to determine repair methods. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or work orders. Operate grinders, torches, saws, and other metalworking tools as needed. Perform cutting, fitting, and alignment to ensure proper part assembly. Conduct quality checks to ensure repaired items meet safety and performance standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, safe condition. Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with other fabrication or maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training in welding preferred. 2+ years of welding and repair experience (industrial, structural, or heavy equipment preferred). Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or flux core welding processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols. Skilled in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) a plus.
