$28.00 an hour Our client in Mentor is seeking an experienced Fabricator / TIG Welder to join their team on a direct hire basis. This role is ideal for a skilled metal fabricator with strong stainless steel TIG welding experience who can work from blueprints and produce high-quality finished products. #2931ST Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components to specification Perform stainless steel TIG welding on a variety of products and assemblies Cut, grind, shape, and finish materials using fabrication equipment Measure and inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy Operate shop equipment including grinders, saws, shears, press brakes, and other fabrication tools Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow quality standards and production schedules Requirements Previous fabrication and welding experience required Stainless steel TIG welding experience is required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
