ETI Technical College of Niles is seeking a part-time welding instructor for immediate hire. Salary based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

Three or more years of welding experience is required . Teaching experience is preferred . Education or training in welding, such as completion of a vocational program or apprenticeship, is required . Proficiency in using welding tools and equipment, including knowledge of different types of welding techniques is required . Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols is preferred . AWS Certifications are preferred . Job Description and Responsibilities Attend daily meetings with department head / lead instructor to obtain information and other duties for the day Provide daily instruction to students Conduct class to ETI curriculum Take attendance and document any late or tardy individuals Provide hands-on training in lab including demonstration of welding, measuring, fabrication, oxy fuel and plasma cutting Mentor students Monitor students during labs Make sure all PPE is being properly used Ensure all projects are being accomplished according to instructional standards Train students on how to properly and optimally utilize all equipment in the facility including, but not limited to, welders, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, Oxy Fuel, plasma, hoists, band saw, etc. Maintain inventory of tools and machines
