MIG Welder - Immediate Openings Available Pay Based on Experience | Full-Time | Salem, OH Hickey Metal Fabrication is currently seeking a skilled and motivated MIG Welder to join our growing team. We are a family-owned, industry-leading fabrication company known for our commitment to quality, safety, and innovation. MIG Welder Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on a variety of steel and/or aluminum components Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and shop drawings accurately Follow quality assurance procedures to ensure all welds meet specifications and standards Operate safely in a shop environment and adhere to all company safety protocols Assist in material handling, including overhead crane and forklift operation Participate in a hands-on weld test during the hiring process MIG Welder Qualifications 1-5 years of MIG welding experience required Ability to pass an
AWS D1.1
weld test and applicable non-destructive examinations Strong understanding of shop math, general welding principles, and standard fabrication practices Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a physically active role Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and quality Welder certifications, crane, and forklift experience are preferred but not required Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
