Job Description

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform stainless-steel fabrication and MIG/TIG welding on light-gauge stainless-steel components. You'll work from mechanical drawings, weld symbols, work instructions, and shop routings to produce high-quality parts that meet required specifications and tolerances. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, pays attention to detail, and works well in a team environment. What You'll Do Perform MIG and TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel. Fabricate and assemble stainless-steel components according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Interpret mechanical blueprints, weld symbols, and shop routings . Produce sanitary welds that meet USDA requirements . Set up and operate conventional fabrication and finishing equipment. Grind, blend, blast, and polish welds using hand and power tools. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to safely move materials. Support various welding functions and work areas based on production needs. Meet established quality, productivity, and workmanship standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating standards. Participate in cross-training and support other areas of the department as needed. Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED or at least 2 years of experience in a similar welding/fabrication role . Experience with MIG and TIG welding , preferably on thin-gauge stainless steel. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and weld symbols. Experience producing sanitary welds is strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to safely use hand tools and fabrication equipment. Ability to work within established production standards.
Preferred:
Associate degree or technical training in Welding Technology. Why Join Us?
