Full-Time / Direct Hire About the Opportunity A well-established, century-old capital equipment manufacturer in the Greater Cincinnati area is adding a skilled Master Builder to their shop floor team. This company engineers and builds custom industrial machinery — no two jobs are identical. You'll be joining a team where craftsmanship is valued and your work is visible in every finished machine that ships out the door. What You'll Do Read and interpret blueprints to lay out and plan fabrication jobs from start to finish Cut, fit, and assemble structural steel components and sheet metal/pipe fabrications Weld mild and stainless steel using both MIG and TIG processes Operate a full range of shop equipment including drill press, grinder, sander, plasma cutter, band saw, shear, stationary and handheld abrasive saws, and standard hand tools Perform quality checks on your own work and flag any safety or quality issues to management Maintain a clean, organized work area throughout production Support and cross-train with other shop personnel as needed What You'll Need Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on industrial welding and fabrication experience Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on both mild and stainless steel — required, not preferred Ability to read and work from blueprints independently Experience operating standard fabrication shop equipment High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted; physical ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb, and crawl in a shop environment Availability to work overtime — up to 50-60 hours per week when required Commitment to safety protocols and PPE compliance at all times Why This Role Straight day shift, Monday through Friday, with a company that has been building quality industrial equipment for over a century — plus real overtime opportunity if you want it.
