What You'll Do:
As a Welder, you'll be involved in a range of challenging and rewarding tasks, including: Performing SMAW welding activities in all positions (flat, vertical, and overhead). Climbing ladders and scaffolds, traversing gangways, and working at heights up to 40 feet. Lifting and carrying heavy tools and equipment (up to 120 lbs). Using cutting torches, welding machines, and other essential tools to complete projects with precision. Repairing and maintaining marine vessels in a shipyard environment, including confined spaces and challenging conditions. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and templates. Operating equipment such as forklifts, hand grinders, and chain hoists.
Essential Physical Functions:
Crawling, kneeling, bending, and working in awkward positions for extended periods. Swinging 16-lb sledgehammers, pulling chain hoists, and maneuvering in tight spaces. Balancing on uneven or slick surfaces and negotiating gangways at varying heights.
Tools You'll Use:
Welding machines, torches, and hoods. Hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and socket sets. Forklifts, cherry pickers, and air tools. Chain hoists, come-a-longs, and bench grinders. What You Bring to the

Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
