2nd Shift Welder | 3:00 PM - 12:00
AM Pay:
Up To $25.00/hour with increases upon hire! Job Summary We are seeking a dependable 2nd Shift Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing MIG and Stick welding on production equipment, fixtures, and repair projects. The ideal candidate has previous welding experience, a strong work ethic, and is committed to producing quality work while maintaining a safe work environment. Welding certification is not required. Responsibilities Perform MIG and Stick welding for equipment and facility repair work. Repair metal components, machinery, fixtures, and fabricated parts as needed. Read and interpret basic work instructions and drawings. Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and structural integrity. Operate welding equipment and related hand and power tools safely. Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces prior to welding. Maintain welding equipment and report any maintenance needs. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous MIG and Stick welding experience required. Welding certification is not required. Basic knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication. Ability to safely operate welding equipment, grinders, and hand tools. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable attendance and ability to work independently. Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, sparks, and noise. Must wear required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
