We are looking to hire a Welder for our Large Bearing Manufacturing and Repair area at our Warren, OH location. Experience and skills will determine level and pay rate.
Day Shift:
50 hour workweek - Monday-Friday, Some Saturdays based on production demands
Responsibilities
Performs TIG welding processes on steel parts using welding metals and metal alloys to assemble large roller bearings
Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
Uses air arc equipment to cut and disassemble components under general supervision
Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
Performs minimal assembly work
Other work may be assigned at Management's discretion
Candidates will have opportunities to develop additional skills through cross-training in bearing inspection, grinding, and light CNC machining
Experience/Education/Skills/Certifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
TIG welding experience preferred. Experience welding carbon steel, alloy steel, or precision components is highly desirable
Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred. Certification not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
In-house training provided
