We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, as well as a commitment to maintaining high safety standards on construction sites. Duties Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials including steel and alum. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components according to design specifications. Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision in welding tasks. Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials around the construction site. Engage in rigging activities as necessary for lifting heavy components during assembly. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members on various projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in welding with certifications preferred in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutting equipment. Experience in machining, soldering, pipe threading, and fabrication processes is highly desirable. Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
