As a Structural Welder, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing and engineering by performing welding activities. You will be responsible for operating welding equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring that all welding activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform welding activities according to project requirements and specifications. Operate welding equipment such as a torch, plasma cutter, and MIG welders. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine welding requirements. Fabricate and weld metal components and structures to industry standards. Conduct pre and post-inspection of welds to ensure quality and compliance. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed. Keep accurate records of welding activities and materials used.
Job Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Experience in structural welding preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in operating welding equipment and tools. Knowledge of welding techniques and procedures. Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks. Problem-solving skills to resolve welding issues effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
