Description:

Mig Welder | 1st shift | $17-`19/hr Job Description Perform welding, flange line work, fabrication, and production activities. This role supports the safe and efficient assembly and fabrication of components, contributing directly to high-quality output and smooth manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Perform welding tasks on various components in accordance with production specifications and safety standards. Support flange line operations, including preparation, alignment, and assembly of parts. Carry out fabrication work such as cutting, fitting, and assembling metal and other materials to meet design requirements. Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently as part of the production process. Assist with general assembly tasks, ensuring components are correctly fitted and finished. Follow work instructions, blueprints, or production plans to complete jobs accurately and on time. Use power tools and hand tools appropriately to support fabrication, assembly, and machine operation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to facility safety and housekeeping standards. Monitor equipment and materials during production and report any issues or defects promptly. Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing facility with hands-on welding, fabrication, assembly, and machine operation work. Multiple shift options are available, including first shift positions from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The environment is production-focused, with regular opportunities for overtime. Team members work around industrial machinery and fabrication equipment and should be prepared for an active, shop-floor setting with appropriate work attire suitable for welding, fabrication, and machine operation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chickasha, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
