Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 126398 Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable Class B Welders to join a growing manufacturing team in Pryor. This position is responsible for performing welding and fabrication on metal components and structural assemblies while following established safety, quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate has foundational welding experience, is eager to continue developing their skills, and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Required Experience & Skills Basic welding experience using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), or Flux Core (FCAW) processes Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols Basic knowledge of metal fabrication processes and welding techniques Ability to accurately read measuring tools and perform basic math calculations Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform welding using approved MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux Core welding processes Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, fitting, and positioning components for welding Read and follow blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols Inspect completed welds to verify compliance with company quality standards Repair defective welds and perform necessary touch-up work as required Safely operate welding equipment and fabrication tools Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and production procedures Assist senior welders and fabrication personnel as needed Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Welding certification or vocational welding training is a plus Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience Experience working in industrial or structural steel environments Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in various welding positions throughout the shift Ability to safely operate welding equipment while wearing required PPE Comfortable working in industrial shop and outdoor environments as needed Work Environment Industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility Exposure to welding equipment, heavy steel materials, sparks, heat, industrial noise, and fabrication machinery Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork Opportunities to learn from experienced welders and continue developing welding skills Why You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $20.00/hour Stable day-shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to build your welding career in a growing manufacturing environment Supportive team with opportunities for advancement into higher-skilled welding positions Ready to Apply?
