PIPE WELDER
- TULSA AREA $28+/Hour | Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM-1:30 PM HireCall is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder for a Tulsa-area company.
This is a skilled position in a high-performance shop where all welds are 100% X-ray inspected. Candidates must have strong pipe welding experience and be able to consistently produce high-quality work. Welding Experience & Requirements 3-5 years of pipe welding experience required. Must be proficient in GTAW (TIG) and
GMAW/FCAW
(MIG/Flux Core) welding processes. Must be able to pass required weld tests: 6G
- 2" Schedule 160
- GTAW 1G
- 6" Schedule 80
- GMAW/FCAW Combo MIG root with Flux Core fill and cap All welding work is subject to 100% X-ray inspection.
Welders are required to maintain a less than 4% reject rate. Must be capable of performing consistently in a high-quality, production-focused environment.
Job Responsibilities Read Blueprints:
Interpret complex isometric drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan pipe layouts and fabrication.
Cut & Shape:
Accurately measure, cut, thread, and bend metal and specialized piping materials to exact specifications.
Fit & Assemble:
Fit and connect pipe sections using appropriate welding and joining processes.
Test Systems:
Perform pressure and hydrostatic testing to identify leaks and verify system integrity.
Inspect & Maintain:
Inspect and repair valves, fittings, pipe supports, and related components. Follow specifications and quality standards throughout the fabrication and welding process. Problem-solve and make adjustments as needed to complete work accurately and efficiently.
Schedule & Pay Pay:
$28+/hour, based on experience
