Job Description
Steel Fabricator Aerotek is Hiring! Aerotek is seeking experienced Steel Fabricators to join a growing fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting shop drawings, laying out and fitting structural steel components, performing basic welding, and operating fabrication equipment to build high-quality steel assemblies in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay & Schedule Pay:
$22.00 - $31.00 per hour + shift differential 2ndShift:
Monday-Friday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Overtime available as needed. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols. Measure, layout, fit, and assemble structural steel components. Perform tack welding and basic MIG welding as required. Operate fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, grinders, and oxy-fuel torches. Heat straighten, cut, and prepare steel materials for fabrication. Follow welding procedures, quality standards, and shop tolerances. Perform basic welding machine setup and maintenance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $34.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
