Swing Shift | Monday-Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM Job Description We are seeking an Entry-Level Tack Welder to join a growing metal fabrication team. In this role, you will perform production tack welding on steel and aluminum components used in anti‑siphoning gas tank assemblies. You'll work with MIG welding equipment using .035 hard wire and assist with operating robotic welders. This is a great opportunity for individuals with basic welding experience looking to grow their skills in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform tack welding on steel and aluminum components Use MIG welding techniques with .035 hard wire Assist with operating and monitoring robotic welders Complete production tack welding on simple parts Follow safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting Required Skills Basic experience with tack welding and MIG welding Familiarity with welding machines and shop tools Ability to perform simple, consistent tack welds Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in metal fabrication Prior work in a production or manufacturing environment Exposure to robotic welding equipment (preferred but not required) Training provided for candidates with foundational welding experience Why Work Here? The company manufactures automotive components and maintains a clean, efficient production floor. Standard fabrication‑appropriate attire is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
