This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves to work with their hands and is looking to move into a production position with room to grow.
What we are seeking:
2 + years of TIG welding experience focusing on sheet metal and stainless steel. Proven ability to tig on thin-gauge sheet metal, stainless steel, and aluminum. Great shop math skills with the ability to use measurement tools such as tape, micrometers, and calipers. Ability to read and interpret weld symbols and blueprints for making sure that custom parts are in adherence to the customer's needs. Good fabrication skills to cut, form, and fit alloys together according to blueprints and schematics. Previous experience in equipment maintenance and safety protocols surrounding welding machines, torches, and gas suppliers. Ongoing practice of following all safety and health regulations, including the use of PPE. Ability to lift 50lbs on a semi-consistent basis, including standing, stooping, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and walking for an 8 to 10 hour shift. Great Attendance, Punctuality, and Teamwork.
