About Us At Sunburst Fabrications Inc., we are a leader in custom steel fabrication and installation based in Redmond, Oregon. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering durable, high-performance solutions to our customers. We're seeking skilled, motivated individuals to join our growing team. Position Overview We are hiring an experienced and reliable Fabricator/Welder/Steel Installer to support our shop and field operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and takes pride in high-quality work. Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld components using MIG, TIG, and other welding processes
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and prepare steel components to exact dimensions
- Install steel structures on-site per job requirements
- Operate shop and job site equipment (e.g., forklifts, grinders, saws, drills)
- Perform layout and fitting tasks per detailed blueprints
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure a clean, safe work environment Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 year of welding and fabrication experience (required)
- Proficiency in hard wire, dual shield, and inner shield welding
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Experience with power tools and fabrication equipment
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team-player attitude Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to commute to Redmond, OR
