NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking an Entry Level Welder for a family-owned and operated fabrication company in Springfield, OR. This company has a long, proud history of providing high-quality fabricated components to a variety of industries.

What We Are Seeking:

1+ year of shop work, completion of a welding program, or technical training, or to demonstrate a basic understanding of weld theory and workshop safety. AWS Welding Certification required Experience with FCAW, or GTAW welding: An interest and aptitude in learning to weld thin-to-mild gauge steel that will bend and warp without a steady hand. Ability to read a tape measure and calipers to correctly measure all parts to meet the specifications of blueprints and schematics. Comfortable wearing a welding hood throughout the day and standing for 8 to 10-hour shifts and lifting 60 lbs safely. Work independently and meet production deadlines to keep the assembly line moving forward without constant supervision. Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred to transfer or maneuver metal materials. Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull for an 8•to 10-hour shift. Good communication skills both verbally and in writing Great attitude, attendance, and punctuality.
