Schedule:

1st shift This is a Temp-to-Hire position! Objective Prepare and weld complex plastic parts to drawing specifications. Demonstrate the initiative to help in the training of others. Demonstrate the ability to be a leader. Be able to field customer questions in relation to work also be able to work with customers and aid in the manufacturing of prototype opportunities. Responsibilities Identify and weld different plastics - WPP, NPP, PVC, FRPP, PE, Polycarbonate, CPVC, PVDF, FM4910, Acetal, Acrylics, PET, PEEK, UNMW, HDPE, PTFE, and PFA materials. Use equipment provided to pure bond, socket fusion, and butt weld. Work in a clean room environment for whole shift at a time. Glue a variety of plastics (PVC, Acrylic, and Polycarbonate). Bend materials using heat. Read and interpret engineered drawings. Make threads on pipe and round rod. Use manual mill and manual lathe. Have the ability to go to customer sites and do the same functions that are done in the shop, at the customer's facility. Requirements HS diploma or equivalent. 6-8 years in manufacturing environment Fabrication experience

Ability to adapt and work in hazardous environments safely. Ability to identify and build using inch and metric dimensions. Ability to read and interpret Bill of Materials (BOMs).
