WELDER NEEDED!
$19.00/HR 1st shift 7:00am- 3:30pmM-F NO WEEKENDS
Responsibilities Perform TIG and MIG welding on metal components used in the manufacture of equipment for large trucks. Read and interpret blueprints and basic drawings to understand weld locations, dimensions, and assembly requirements. Use hand tools and basic power tools to fit, position, and assemble parts prior to welding. Set up, operate, and adjust MIG welding equipment to achieve strong, clean, and consistent welds. Inspect welds visually and verify that finished work meets quality, safety, and production standards. Follow production schedules and work instructions to complete assigned tasks on time. Handle general labor tasks related to welding and assembly, including material handling and workstation organization. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Collaborate with other production team members to complete projects efficiently and resolve issues as they arise. Essential Skills Experience performing TIG and MIG welding in a production or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic technical drawings. Proficiency using hand tools and basic power tools for metal fabrication and assembly. Capability to perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy. Strong attention to detail to ensure weld quality and adherence to specifications. Ability to work effectively on a 1st shift schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Willingness to perform general labor tasks related to welding and assembly. Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Berwick, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
