This role supports manufacturing operations by producing high-quality welded products, reading and interpreting technical documentation, and maintaining an efficient and organized workflow within the fabrication area. Shift:
1st shift Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pmPay Rate:
$22-$26/hour based on experienceBenefits:
Medical, dental, vision and 401k plan Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, robotic, and other welding processes in accordance with work instructions and engineering drawings. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication specifications to ensure accurate production of components and assemblies. Set up and operate welding equipment, Lincoln welders, robotic welders, hand tools, grinders, cylinders, and related fabrication equipment. Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components prior to welding using micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to verify dimensions. Perform tack welding and final welding on components and finished assemblies to meet quality and structural requirements. Inspect welds for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with company standards and customer specifications. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication specifications accurately. Experience setting up and operating Lincoln welders, robotic welding equipment, and standard welding tools. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
