Job Title:
Core Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Core Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabricating custom parts, primarily pressure vessels used in shipyards or the boating industry. The role requires working with blueprints, Mig and Flux Core welding techniques, and involves preparing and cutting parts and metals. Candidates must pass a weld test, as precision is crucial and spot welding experience is not applicable. Responsibilities Weld and fabricate custom parts using Mig and Flux Core techniques. Interpret and work with blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication. Perform necessary prep work, including cutting parts and metals. Ensure all welds are leak-proof and meet industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in a small machine shop environment. Essential Skills 1-3 years of welding experience with Flux Core. 1-2 years of experience working with blueprints. Proficiency in Mig welding techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with jig work is a plus. Experience in cutting parts and metals is a major advantage. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
